Cardinal District swimmers asked to donate food to needy

Woodbridge Senior High School Varsity Viking Swim Team has challenged all swim team members of the Cardinal District to donate canned goods for its third year to Action in Community Through Service (ACTS).

ACTS is a community organization whose mission is to alleviate hunger, homelessness and domestic violence and help people achieve self sufficiency in the Prince William area.

Hundreds of pounds of canned goods have been donated in the past two years and WSHS Swim Team is continuing this annual tradition with community support.
Our swim teams and community can help by donating canned goods which will be used to provide emergency assistance to people in the local community.

A donation box will be located at the entrance of the Chinn Center throughout the WSHS swim season. The last chance to donate canned goods to help feed the hungry is Jan. 27.
