Entries for January ISSA World Tournament of Champions close Dec. 31

The ISSA Staff is getting ready to finalize the details for the 5th ISSA/ISF World Tournament of Champions which will take place on Jan. 29-31, 2016 in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida. 

Deadline for new entries is Thursday, Dec. 31.  All players planning on playing in the WTOC should check the Registered Team List which is posted on the ISSA Website to confirm that your team is included. 

Staff will begin the process of developing the preliminary game schedules on Monday, Jan. 4. 

Teams that have not finalized their entry by submiting the tournament entry fee are reminded to do so now or notify the ISSA Office that they have dropped. 

Rings, jackets and medals were ordered several weeks ago and are being manufactured now and the host communities are busy preparing the softball complexes for this world-class event.

The ISSA Staff will be posting tournament photos daily throughout the event on both the ISSA Website and the ISSA Senior Softball Facebook Page.

The International Senior Softball Association, founded in 1994, is headquartered in Manassas, VA and is an Allied Member of the Amateur Softball Association of America.

The ISSA has become one of the Nation’s leading senior softball organizations and its staff provides leadership positions nationally and internationally for the development and administration of the senior division. The ISSA Championship Series has been recognized as one of the outstanding sports series in the United States by Sports Travel Magazine and Sports Destination Management. 

And recently RB Thomas, Jr. was named the Outstanding Sports Event Organizer for 2014 by the National Association of Sports Commissions.
