Lake Ridger Doris Woodring wins gold medal In NVSO Wii Bowling event

Doris Woodring, 103, Lake Ridge, won a gold medal in the Wii bowling competition held Sept. 10 at the Greenspring Retirement Community in Springfield.
While Woodring was the only competitor in her age group, “She was an inspiration to the youngsters in their 80’s and 90’s,” said Wendy Straub, Wii bowling event director. M
Woodring also competed in scrabble on Monday, Sept. 9 and will compete Thursday, Sept. 12 in the Mexican Train Dominoes event.
