Beginning Sept. 1, 2021, all hunters (including those who are not required to purchase a license) who harvest a deer, turkey, bear, bobcat, or elk, will need to check their harvest by calling DWR (866-GOT-GAME), logging on to gooutdoorsvirginia.com, or by using the mobile app harvest reporting system, GoOutdoorsVa (free through the app store).

Building on a tradition started when the two schools first competed against each other in a football game in 1895, the Commonwealth Clash is a head-to-head, points-based competition between the athletic teams at the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech.
The competition will include the 21 sports in which the two schools compete against each other, plus one fan-decided point.

The 2014 NVSO will be held Sept. 13-24 at 19 venues throughout Northern Virginia. More than 50 events are open to adults 50+ years of age who live in a sponsoring jurisdiction of which Prince William County is one.

Ian Connor and Rob Dulin aim to bring family friendly fun races to the Greater Prince William community. This will allow runners to eliminate a long commute and have their family and friends cheer them on or participate in a series of holiday races Freedom Firecracker July 4, Turkey Trot Nov. 27 and Resolution Run Jan. 1.

The PWGFS league offers a variety of summer camps and clinics. Players are divided into groups based on their skill level. They will learn the fundamentals of the game, and progress from there. Camps are held in the evening when it is cooler.
