Virginia to transition to elecronic and phone reporting of game harvesting in September

Beginning Sept. 1, 2021, all hunters (including those who are not required to purchase a license) who harvest a deer, turkey, bear, bobcat, or elk, will need to check their harvest by calling DWR (866-GOT-GAME), logging on to gooutdoorsvirginia.com, or by using the mobile app harvest reporting system, GoOutdoorsVa (free through the app store).

In-water boat show returns to Norfolk after nine-year hiatus

November 9-11, 2018, Norfolk Festevents, Ltd. will host the return of the Norfolk In-Water Boat Show, which a news release describes as "the only major in-water boat show in the Hampton Roads region."
