Beginning Sept. 1, 2021, all hunters (including those who are not required to purchase a license) who harvest a deer, turkey, bear, bobcat, or elk, will need to check their harvest by calling DWR (866-GOT-GAME), logging on to gooutdoorsvirginia.com, or by using the mobile app harvest reporting system, GoOutdoorsVa (free through the app store).
The archers of Reagan Middle School weren't in Rio, but they brought the gold home to Prince William County with a win at the NASP/IBO 3D Outdoor World Tournament. The Reagan archers are World Champions for the second year in a row.

For the past 23 years, Susan Farmer has been a willing volunteer in the Nokesville Basketball League, serving as its commissioner since 1998. For her devotion to the league and the positive impact on the hundreds of young boys and girls both on and off the basketball court, she was recently honored with the Gil Trenum Volunteer Service Award.
Learn how to stay healthy by joining speaker Kevin Peltier, MD - a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and treats athletes every day - March 15 at 7 p.m. at Stonewall Golf Club. He will provide attendees with advice on how to keep bones and joints in good shape and explain when it's time to seek treatment for aches and pains.
Again in 2016 the International Senior Softball Association (ISSA) will hold the Lester Leonard "Early Bird" tournament at Manassas, VA April 2-3 for those regional senior teams looking to get in some "swings" and work on the team chemistry.
