Three men and a women charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery

Strong-Arm Robbery – On September 30 at 1:37AM, officers responded to the 1300 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 29-year-old man, made arrangements to meet a woman at an apartment in the above area.

Upon arrival at the apartment, three unknown men exited and approached the victim. During the encounter, the suspects took the victim’s money out of his wallet before assaulting him. The victim was eventually able to get away from the suspects and contact police.

Officers responded to the apartment and made contact with several people inside.

Following the investigation, the three suspects involved in the altercation, identified as Malik Shabazz WILSON, James John RASTATTER III, and Isaiah Gershon MCGRIFF, as well as the woman, identified as Desire Melinda WARTHEN, who initially made the arrangements with the victim, were arrested.

Malik Shabazz WILSON, 26, of No fixed address

James John RASTATTER III, 28, of 14300 Flint Ct. in Dale City

Isaiah Gershon MCGRIFF, 24, of 1392 Indiana Ave. in Woodbridge

Desire Melinda WARTHEN, 37, of No fixed address

All were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery and are being held without bond for a court date of November 8, 2019.
