New Toastmasters club forming in Bristow-Linton Hall area; first meeting Oct. 9

If you would like to improve your public speaking, communication and leadership skills, consider joining a new Toastmasters club forming in Bristow/Linton Hall, says David Core.

If interested in improving your skills in these areas, then attend the first meeting of the Bristow/Linton Hall club on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 7:30-8:30 p.m., at Grace Life Community Church, 9560 Linton Hall Rd, Bristow, VA 20136.

Toastmasters International is a 95-year-old non-profit organization dedicated to preparing people be more confident as communicators and leaders. Whether you are starting out in your job or are an experienced professional, you cannot overestimate the value of preparing and delivering the right verbal messages you need others to hear, such as those you supervise.

Toastmasters provides a systematic approach to public speaking and leadership in a friendly, supportive environment.

There are more than 175 clubs in Northern Virginia but none in the Bristow/Linton Hall area.
