The Freedom Museum will hold its popular Hangar Dance and dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 11 p.m. Admission is $100 per person and includes dinner and dancing to the music of the 1940s and 1950s performed by The Swing Machine.
The evening also features a short swing dance lesson, live and silent auctions for interesting items, a cash bar, and the opportunity for a personal photograph.
Vintage aircraft and vehicles, including the Experimental Aircraft Association’s WWII era B-17, Aluminum Overcast, will be on display.
The Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization staffed entirely by volunteers and is funded through fundraisers, donations, and business sponsors. Dance proceeds help pay operating expenses for the museum and add to its building fund.
The museum is located in the main terminal of the Manassas Regional Airport, and its mission is to honor the service and sacrifices of veterans from Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park.
