Twenty young entrepreneurs ages 6-16 will showcase 21 businesses featuring new products and services on Sunday, June 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Eclipse Club at 5615 Wellington Road in Gainesville, according to Trish Driscoll, who has organized the event, open to the public.
There will be speakers and door prizes. Each young entrepreneur was partnered with an adult mentor/business owner to help create a business plan and prepare for the fair, according to a news release. All youth participants are responsible for setting up their own displays and establishing prices to make a profit, Driscoll said.
Product and service based businesses will be featured, from handmade jewelry and crafts to pet sitting, grass cutting and mobile CPR, the news release said.
