Prince William Little Theatre will present “The Diary of Anne Frank” October 20-29 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center.
This new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman is a story of hope that captures the claustrophobic realities of the daily existence of Anne, her family, and the handful of neighbors hiding in Nazi Germany.
Director Scott Strasbaugh’s vision is to bring the audience into that time in history, providing a powerful experience for each and every member of the audience. This production runs from Friday, October 20 to Sunday, October 29. Evening performances will be held Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. with matinees on Sundays at 2 p.m.
The actress playing Anne Frank is Lucia LaNave, currently a senior in high school at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Va. In addition, Lucia is also a student at Fairfax Academy, where she takes classes in actuing and musical theatre.
