Auditions for Pied Piper Theatre’s Nov. 4-5 production of The Wiz will be Sept. 8-10
The Center for the Arts’ Pied Piper Theatre in Manassas will audition singers, dancers, and actors ages 8-18 for the musical production of The Wiz.
Auditions will be held Friday, Sept. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with callbacks on Sunday, Sept. 10.
Auditions are by appointment only by calling the Center for the Arts at 703-330-2787. Audition information is available online at http://www.center-for-the-arts.org .
Auditions are at the Center for the Arts, 9419 Battle St., Manassas, VA.
The show will be directed by Jann Crawford, musically directed by Saralee Fassett, and choreographed by Kristine Shackleford.
Three performances are scheduled at Metz Middle School Nov. 4-5. The Wiz – book by William F. Brown, music & lyrics by Charlie Smalls, from the story “The wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum, according to Anne Ridgway, Theatre Arts Director, Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory.
