Holiday wreath demonstration at Nov. 7 workshop in Lake Ridge

The Garden Club of Lake Ridge will hold its next meeting and program on Monday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Dr., Woodbridge, VA.
The program is “Designing Wreaths: Harvest, Magnolia, and Holiday Wreaths” with guest speaker Chris Polychronis, owner of Michael’s Flowers of Lake Ridge.

Manassas Council names Steve Burke as new Manassas City Manager
Steve Burke, an Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works for the City of Manassas, has been named City Manager by Manassas City Council effective February. 3, 2025. Interim City Manager Douglas Keen will return to his post as Police Chief and an Assistant City Manager.
