Quilt show now at Haymarket Museum on weekends

The Haymarket chapter of Quilters Unlimited is holding its fourth quilt show in the Town of Haymarket Museum.  The theme of the show is Quilting Colorful Seasons with Love.

The quilts will be on display Oct. 15-16, Oct. 22-23, Oct. 29-30 and Nov 5-6 when the museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p,m. It is located at 15025 Washington St., Haymarket, VA 20169.  A handout listing nearby quilt shops will be available so visitors can do a mini shop hop after viewing the quilts.

The Haymarket chapter of Quilters Unlimited meets on the first Thursday of the month, September through June in the J. W. Alvey Elementary School.  5300 Waverly Farm Drive, Haymarket, VA.  Social time and demos start at 6:30 p.m.  The business meeting is at 7 p.m. followed by a program.  Visitors are welcome and invited to join for fun, friendship and learning together the joy of quilting.
