Manassas Lioness Lions Club is having its fifth Community Book Collection now through Nov. 15 and is asking the public to go through their book shelves, boxes and older children’s rooms again this year and find books that they could donate to the community book drive.

Any book in good condition that is suitable for K-12 (including audio and Braille) will be accepted, No encyclopedias, please.

Drop-off sites are Manassas City Police Dept at 9518 Fairview Avenue,  Grace United Methodist Church at 9750 Wellington Road,  Gainesville United Methodist Church at 13710 Milestone Ct, off Linton Hall Rd. in Gainesville and and Manassas Park Community Center at 99 Adams St, Manassas Park. There will be marked boxes in the lobbies at each location.

After Nov. 15, club members will go thru and sort the books and get ready to distribute to area school students shortly thereafter.
