Friends of the Occoquan fall river cleanup Oct. 15
Volunteers are invited to join Friends of the Occoquan (FOTO) on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to noon for FOTO’s Occoquan River Clean Up.
You can make a difference! Help preserve one of our region’s most important natural resources: The Occoquan River! Refreshments will be provided.
Boaters are needed to help assist along the waterways at the various sites. Contact FOTO at 703-624-7124 if you can help.
In FOTO’s efforts to cut down on the use of plastic water bottles volunteers are encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottles for water drinking purposes. Using refillable water bottles will decrease the amount of pollution that enters our waterways and make clean-up efforts easier.
