National ‘Yarn Ambassador’ to speak at Crochet Guild in Manassas May 16

On Monday, May 16, nationally-recognized “Yarn Ambassador” Shira Blumenthal of Lion Brand Yarn Company will speak at a 7 p.m. meeting of the Crochet Guild of Prince William County at Manassas Church of the Brethren, 10047 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA.

This is a great opportunity for fiber artists and yarn enthusiasts to meet and interact with a representative of one of the largest and most well-known companies in the yarn industry.  Blumenthal will share entertaining videos as well as tips and ideas about working with yarn. She will also offer previews of new yarns.

Attendees will receive a goodie bag courtesy of Lion Brand Yarn.  The event is free and open to the public.   

Crochet Guild of Prince William County is a local chapter of the Crochet Guild of America (CGOA).  CGOA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of crochet by educating the public about crochet, providing education and networking opportunities, and setting a national standard for the quality, art and skill of crochet through creative endeavors.
