Boy Scouts to put on huge train show March 12-13 at Saunders Middle School
The 18th Annual Model Train Show presented by Boy Scout Troop 964 of Dale City will be open to the public on Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13, at Saunders Middle School, 13557 Spriggs Road Manassas, VA. Hours are 10am – 5pm both days.
Features include one of the largest DCC-HO model train layouts in the Mid-Atlantic and train layouts in Z, N, HO, O and G scales.
Among other attractions are LEGO layouts, steam powered trains, a children’s corner, refreshments and numerous door prizes.
Refreshments are available for purchase in the school cafeteria.
Boy Scouts may earn the Railroading Merit Badge either day during classes from 12:30 pm to 4:00pm. Class cost is $25 per scout and includes admissions and supplies. There are a few spaces remaining. General Admission: Adults $7. Students/Seniors $3, children under 5 are free.
