Student art at Candy Factory in Manassas until Feb. 5

Caton Merchant Family Gallery on the first floor of the Candy Factory building in Old Town Manassas will show art by high school students as part of the annual “Off the Wall” exhibit until Feb. 5, 2016.

An open house is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9 from 3–5 p.m. to meet the artists. The snow date is Jan. 16. The exhibit is sponsored by Lockheed Martin and the Center for the Arts/Caton Merchant Family Gallery. The Candy Factory is home to The Center for the Arts for Prince William County and Greater Manassas.

“This exhibit is a wonderful opportunity for our community to appreciate and support the excellent work our visual arts students are engaging in our high schools. You will be impressed with the quality of the student art.” said Ed Stephenson, PWCS supervisor of the arts.

The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. & Saturdays 1-5 p.m.

The exhibit opened Dec. 23.
