Excitement is building as TURN: Washington’s Spies returns for a third season. The AMC television series begins filming in the Central Virginia/Richmond area this November and continues through February 2016. Arvold Casting invites Richmond area residents to come be a part of the show as extras!
Casting Directors are holding an open casting call this Sunday, October 18th, 2015 in Richmond, Virginia. They are seeking Caucasian, African American and Native American men, women and children who are thin to average build and can realistically portray people living in Revolutionary War times. Long hair is definitely a plus for both women and men but not a must. If you have an interesting, expressive face, the casting team would like to meet you! No acting experience is required, but those interested in being extras must have flexible availability, reliable transportation, patience and a positive attitude.
OPEN CALL DETAILS:

Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Location: 4300 Carolina Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222
When attending an open call to be considered for an extra role, expect to fill out an info/contact form, have your picture taken and possibly interview briefly with a member of the casting team. No appointment is necessary.
Based on Alexander Rose’s book Washington’s Spies, AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies tells the untold story of America’s first spy ring. A historical thriller set during the Revolutionary War, TURN: Washington’s Spies centers on Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell), a farmer living in British-occupied Long Island who bands together with his childhood friends to form the Culper Ring - an unlikely team of secret agents who not only went on to help George Washington turn the tide of the war but also gave birth to modern spycraft.
