Could you find some time to devote to helping others learn about our rich local history, organize events, or educate children? Perhaps your interests lean more towards computer skills, writing or office organization. Where ever your talents and interests lie, we have a need for you!
Volunteer Opportunities include:
Volunteer Docents are needed to give tours in the Annex & Museum
Historical Lecture guest speakers at schools and other organization meetings
Help plan and execute upcoming events such as a Children’s Camp, Silent Auction, Victorian Tea, Open House for Christmas, and Children’s Day at the Museum, etc.
Handle writing a newsletter and other correspondence
Work on computers and wireless printers
Help with research projects
Create outreach partnerships with businesses and other non-profits
Volunteers are needed who have a talent in retail, creating appealing displays and improving gift shop sales
Gather and/or transcribe local oral histories
Create and maintain a garden and help with the current herb garden and interpretation of the uses of herbs and Native American plantings
