Weichert, Realtors in Manassas collecting items for BARN, Inc. until Aug. 31

Christine Schaefer, manager of Weichert, Realtors Manassas office, announced that the local real estate firm has joined forces with Transitional Housing BARN, Inc., of Bristow during August to collect food and household items to assist local at-risk families.

Through August 31st, between the hours of 9AM and 5PM, the community is encouraged to drop off the following items at the Weichert Manassas office located at 7900 Sudley Road:

-    Kitchen trash cans and large outdoor trash bags,

-    Bathroom trash cans and small trash bags,

-    Laundry baskets,

-    Sponges

-    Cookies, crackers and cereal, and other snacks for young children,
