Summer food drive to benefit Haymarket Regional Food Pantry

Gainesville Plumbing is hosting a food drive now through Aug. 31 to support the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry (HRFP).

Donations may be dropped off in the company’s lobby at 7679 Limestone Dr., #140, Gainesville, VA 20155 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday-Friday or handed to a Gainesville Plumbing service technician during residential service calls.

Below is a list of staples distributed at the food pantry. 
Breakfast Items
Canned items such as beans, fruit, meat, vegetables and tomatoes
Cereal
Condiments
Luncheon items
Pasta/Rice
Peanut Butter/Jelly
Macaroni & Cheese
Mashed Potatoes
Baby Items such as formula, diapers and wipes
Personal Products such as feminine products, shampoo, soap, toilet paper and toothpaste

Donors are asked to please check the expiration dates as the company is restricted from distributing expired items.

Donors are also asked to consider:
* Gift cards to local grocery stores (such as Giant, Safeway, Food Lion, etc.)
* Financial donations (checks made payable to “Haymarket Regional Food Pantry”), can be mailed to HRFP, 14740 Washington Street, Haymarket, VA 20168.
