FCT to present “Honk” on stage at Vint Hill three weekends in May

Fauquier Community Theatre will present its next production, HONK!  by, George Stiles and Anthony Drewe beginning May 1st and running for three weekends. The show is sponsored by GRC Direct.

HONK! is an all inspiring show that allows the audience “to feel most every emotion,” according to a news release.  There are great lines in there that will have you doubled over with laughter and then there are tender moments that bring you to your knees in tears. 

What can one expect when you have the musical tale of the “Ugly Duckling”?  It is a story of a duckling that hatches “differently” than the rest and he must find a way to make it in a world where everyone treats him as such. 

His life certainly takes a turn when the villain, the Cat, lures him to his kitchen, and then again, when he sets out on a “Wild Goose Chase” to find his way back home to his family.
 
The show casts 33 actors ranging in age from seven to 80.  There is foot tapping music, humor, dancing, and life lessons on how to treat others that every person young to old will enjoy. 

Performances will be held at the Theatre at Vint Hill, 4225 Aiken Drive, Warrenton, VA on Fridays and Saturdays,  May 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 8 PM; and Sundays, May, 3, 10 and 17 at 2 PM.  Order tickets today at http://www.FCTstage.org.
