First Saturday tours at historic Pohick Church
During the colonial period, Pohick Church was the congregation of many of our country’s most prominent families, including the Washingtons, Masons and Fairfaxes.
The Historic Pohick Church Docent Guild will give free guided tours of the historic colonial church on the first Saturday of the month (June 6, and July 4) between 1 and 3 p.m.
Pohick Church is located at 9301 Richmond Highway in Lorton, at the corner of U.S. 1 & Telegraph Road, close to Mount Vernon and Gunston Hall.
