Manassas Symphony to play musical favorites from great classical composers March 7

Manassas Symphony Orchestra and two Ellis Duo award-winning young pianists will play first-rate musical favorites from great classical composers in Classicus, at the orchestra’s spring concert March 7.

Under the baton ofJames Villani, music director and with Tiffany Delgado & Hilary Mauler, National Federation of Music Clubs Young Artist Awards winners, the orchestra will join these Ellis Duo Pianists on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 pm at Hylton Performing Arts Center. 

The pianists will perform Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 10 in E-flat for Two Pianos, K. 365. Beethoven’s Overture to “Fidelio,” Op. 72, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 in D, Op.

The duo won first place prize at the United States International Duo Piano Competition and the National Federation of Music Clubs Ellis Duo Competition in 2013.

All seats for the Manassas Symphony Orchestra concerts in Merchant Hall of the Hylton Performing Arts Center (HPAC) are reserved and everyone needs a ticket. There are several ways to get tickets.

Stop at HPAC Ticket Office Wednesday through Saturday from 12 to 6 pm or two hours before the performance begins.  Go to tickets.com by calling 888-945-2468, or by visiting the HPAC event calendar and click on the “Buy Tickets” button. Processing fees will apply for these methods of purchase. 

Tickets are also available for sale at the Center for the Arts Box Office on George Mason University’s Fairfax Campus.  Individual concert tickets are adults $20, senior citizens 62+ $14, educators w/ID only at ticket office $14, children/students, free - must obtain ticket at ticket office. College students must show ID to obtain free concert ticket.
