Castaways Repertory Theatre will open Peter Pan Jan. 16

Xandra Weaver will be directing nine performances of the Castaways Repertory Theatre’s production of Peter Pan, the classic story of the boy who wouldn’t grow up, beginning on Friday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. The production has been adapted from the book written by J.M. Barrie.

In this family friendly show, Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick Tinkerbell visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and with a sprinkle of pixie dust begin a magical journey that takes them to Never Never Land and face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates, and of course the villainous Captain Hook.

Performance Dates are January 16, 17, 18 (matinee), 23, 24 (matinee) 24 (evening), 30, 31, February 1 (matinee).  All evening curtains times are 8:00 PM. Matinee curtain times are 1:00 PM at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22191

Ticket range in price from $14 for a full price general admission ticket to $5 for children 12 and under at a matinee.

CRT is a community theatre; there is no pay involved. The Castaways Repertory Theatre is a volunteer organization, a member of the Prince William County Arts Council and NVTA (formerly the Northern Virginia Theatre Alliance).
