Haymarket Quilters Unlimited to meet
The Haymarket Chapter of Quilters Unlimited meets the first Thursday of every month at the Evergreen Firehouse on Rt 15 in Haymarket, beginning at 6:30pm. Visitors and potential new members are always welcome.
At the October 2nd meeting the featured speaker will be Cyndi Souder of Moonlighting Quilts. Cyndi is quite an original quilter who believes orange is a neutral and has been known to incorporate beads and old clock parts in her quilts. In addition to lecturing and holding workshops, Cyndi is the author of the dazzling quilt book “Creating Celebration Quilts.”
Quilters and would-be quilters are invited to enjoy the fun & fellowship of Haymarket Quilters Unlimited. And there is always an eye-popping mini quilt show during Show and Tell time.
