Lake Ridge gardeners to hear from the “bug man” at Sept. 8 meeting

Garden Club of Lake Ridge will hold a meeting and program Monday, September 8th at 7 p.m. at the Canterbury Woods Community Center, 12184 Chaucer Lane, Lake Ridge.
The program is “Bugs in Your Garden” with guest speaker Ron Keys.
Membership is open to all who love gardening, sharing ideas and hearing from community experts. Membership dues are $20/year.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the American Red Cross will mark the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art blood donation center in Manassas. This new facility will collect thousands of blood products each year from generous donors who roll up a sleeve to help save lives.
