$3 movie on Thursdays at NOVA’s Manassas campus through October

The Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College, 6901 Sudley Road., invites the community to attend a series of movies–that includes ET, The Matrix and Ghostbusters – that will be shown every Thursday evening for the next two months at the Mary Louise Jackson Amphitheater.

This film series begins Thursday, Aug. 21 and concludes Thursday, Oct. 30.

Sept. 11:  Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Sept. 18:  Cesar Chavez
Sept. 25:  The Matrix
Oct. 2:  22 Jump Street
Oct. 16:  Ghostbusters
Oct. 23:  Maleficent
Oct. 30:  The Purge

Enjoy a movie under the stars with family and friends. Sit on the benches or bring a blanket to stretch out on the grass. The amphitheater, which is located behind the main buildings, will open at 7:45 p.m. and the movie will begin at 8 p.m. Admission is $3 for general admission or free with a NOVA ID.
