Easter egg hunt April 12

The National Community Church invites all area children to an Easter Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12, at Buckland Mills Elementary School, 10511 Wharfdale Place, Gainesville.
There will be a petting zoo, carnival games, bounce houses, crafts, a “massive” egg hunt, prizes for everyone and raffle giveaways.
Register at eggstravaganzadc.com/Gainesville. The event is free.

On Friday, Nov. 22, the American Red Cross will mark the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art blood donation center in Manassas. This new facility will collect thousands of blood products each year from generous donors who roll up a sleeve to help save lives.
