April 1 deadline for submitting works for Hylton Center’s inaugural Juried Art Exhibition
The Hylton Fine Arts Center in Manassas will be holding its inaugural Juried Art Exhibition from May 25-July 18.
Artists’ submissions will be taken through April 1.
Categories for the submitted work include; Ceramics, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry and Wearable art, Furniture as well as Mixed Media, Painting, Printmaking, Photography and Sculpture.
Those artists wishing to submit work and receive information on the requirements should contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for an application.
Three winners will be chosen and awards will be presented for Best of Show, $500, Best Runner-Up, $250 and Honorable Mention, $125.
In addition, the winner of Best of Show will have an opportunity to exhibit his or her work in a solo show in the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery during the 2014-2015 season.
A reception for the selected artists will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
