Party in Pink Zumbathon for breast cancer in Woodbridge Oct. 6

My BodyMoveZ Studio, at 2570 Dynasty Loop. Woodbridge, VA 22192 will host Zumba® Fitness Party In Pink Zumbathon to benefit Susan G. Komen Foundation on Sunday, October 6th from 1 to 3 p.m….two hours of fun-filled dance fitness by ten very talented, energetic instructors.

Participants will dance to make a difference. Proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Foundation’s continuing efforts to find a cure for breast cancer. Studio owner Rosie Clark says she lost her dearest friend (Mariel Berrios Riebe) just a few years ago to the devastating disease.

Clark said the event will be honoring Breast Cancer Warriors and Survivors with a special presentation mid-way through the event. Many participants and instructors have shared personal stories and pictures to show how breast cancer has affected them and their loved ones.

Tigerlily Foundation will be participating in Party In Pink Zumbathon by providing information on prevention and the importance of self-examinations.  10% of all My BodyMoveZ Studio’s 12 Month Unlimited Class Passes bought in October will be donated directly to Tigerlily Foundation to help them further its mission to help young women diagnosed with breast cancer with educational, professional and financial resources.
