Our mornings and evenings are crisp, and leaves are already falling throughout Lake Ridge - autumn is just around the corner. Kickoff the fall season with a day of fun and fellowship at the Occoquan Bible Church’s annual “Festifall.”
Located at 3700 Old Bridge Rd., OBC has been a part of the Lake Ridge community for 18 years. On Saturday, October 5, the church will host its annual fall festival. From noon to 4 p.m., all members of the community can enjoy food, entertainment, games and prizes in the church parking lot.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming the public to the Festifall and to OBC this year!” said Amy Lopez. Lopez is an office administrator at OBC and has attended the church with her family for the past six years.
This event is free to the public, and is a great way to enjoy the outdoors. Activities include a moon bounce, food, face painting, crafts, games and prizes - all at no cost! There will also be a puppet show and live entertainment provided by a music and dance troupe. This seasonal celebration will take place rain or shine.
“We want people to have some fun and see what Occoquan Bible Church is all about,” said Lopez. “People may be hesitant about walking through our church doors for the first time. But after making new friends at the festival, they might be more inclined to visit.”
OBC is a nondenominational Bible church. Attendees study the Bible and focus on fellowship and ministry. Senior Pastor Dr. Kyle Austin, and Pastor Benjamin Purves, the Pastor of Student Ministries, lead the church.
