Spaghetti for Santa in Nokesville Sept. 21

The upcoming spaghetti dinner on September 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the firehouse on Marsteller Drive, Nokesville, is the major fundraiser for the Nokesville Christmas celebration on December 14.

The dinner will include a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, quilt raffle and live auction of a few high-value items. The NBA committee is asking for help in any of following ways.

•  Purchase advance tickets so they will have a better feel of the attendance. $10 adult, $5 children 6-12.
   
• Purchase quilt raffle tickets ($2 each, 3 for $5) at Daffodil Quilts(Nokesville Square)  or Barbara. The quilt should be on display at the Nokesville Neighborhood Library sometime this week.  Handmade by Jane Cubbon (Daffodil Quilts), the quilt has been pronounced “gorgeous” by several Nokesville women who have seen it.

• Donate brownies, cupcakes or cake for dessert at the spaghetti dinner.
   
• Attend the dinner. Catch up with friends, meet new ones. Have a great time.
