You can drop off backpacks with age appropriate supplies such as wipes, glue sticks, crayons, pencils, notebooks and other fun things at Hendrick Honda and they will give you a voucher for a $19.95 oil change. Fancy Cats Rescue Team has an urgent need for foster families to take adoptable cats and kittens into their homes for 30-60 days to provide the basic care as they prepare to be adopted in their permanent home. This includes love, food, litter and transport to adoption fairs. Foster homes are also needed for short periods to give a Pet Smart kitty a break from living in the cage. Habitat for Humanity is seeking a sign language interpreter to help with a new applicant who has critical home repairs. The applicant is deaf and disabled. Historic Manassas is gearing up for the Manassas Civil War weekend August 23-25. Volunteers are needed to assist with the bourbon tasting August 24th 5:30-9pm. Sounds like fun.
