The annual Community Expo will be on May 4 at Pfitzner Stadium Complex behind the county government complex in Woodbridge from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Friends and families may enjoy a free fun-filled day of activities while learning about the local community and summer opportunities.
PWCS Health and Physical Education, ED OUT (Head Outdoors for Education and Fun), Prince William County Parks and Recreation, and the Prince William Healthy Communities•Healthy Youth Council have collaborated on this event.
Here are some of the planned activities:
• Outdoor activities (hiking, rope skills course, etc)
• Youth summer programs (Park Authority, Historic Preservation, Manassas Battlefield, etc.)
• Important school-related information
• BMX demonstrations
• Petting Zoo
• NASCAR Display
• Performances (student groups)
• Mascot Dance-Off
• Reptile Demonstration
• Moon Bounce
• And much more…
The event is planned in conjunction with the Explorer’s Passport program that encourages students to visit and explore local attractions and become eligible for prizes.
PWC Community Expo is coordinated by Prince William County Public Schools, ED OUT, Prince William County Healthy Communities, Healthy Youth, PWCS Health and Physical Education, PWC Parks and Recreation, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington, and the Hylton Foundation.
