The “HOKIE HOG”annual scholarship fundraising ride from Manassas, Richmond, Hampton, Charlottesville or Staunton to Virginia Tech in Blacksburg VA and the optional next day ride back are scheduled for April 27-28. The event supports the Va Tech ’32 Named Memorial Endowments Fund.”
Tentative Schedule includes:
6:00-7:45 sign-in/breakfast Manassas Hooters (8503 Rixlew Lane, Manassas) roll by 8:00am.
6:00-8:00 Steel Horse Bar and Grille (1920 Va10, Chester) roll by 8:00am.
6:30-7:30 Hampton Hooters -1801 W. Mercury, I-64 and Hwy 258- roll by 7:30am.
10:00-10:15 quick stop in Charlottesville-Applebee’s -2005Abby Rd -near RT 250 & RT 20. roll by 10:15.
11:00-12:30 SHAKERS - 3401 Candlers Mountain Rd. Lynchburg, Virginia-near 501N @ 460.
11:00-12:15 Shenandoah HD, Staunton, VA - Exit 220 west off I81.
2:00-2:15 QUICK stop near Troutville @ Brughs Mill Rd. Rt 640. Exxon - exit #156 off I81.
4:30-5:00 ceremony at VA Tech Memorial drill field (center of campus). (stage in stadium parking lot)
5:00-8:00 dinner/raffles/music on VT Drill field.
