Skate park hoopla in Woodbridge May 5

Veterans Memorial Regional Park at 14300 Featherstone Road, Woodbridge, will be the scene of a skate park rededication and reopening on Saturday, May 5, at noon. The event will include demonstrations and staff from Battle of York, Fairfax Surf Shop and The Pit Crew on site. the public is invited. For more information call 703-792-4253.

Manassas Council names Steve Burke as new Manassas City Manager
Steve Burke, an Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Works for the City of Manassas, has been named City Manager by Manassas City Council effective February. 3, 2025. Interim City Manager Douglas Keen will return to his post as Police Chief and an Assistant City Manager.
