The Black Watch from Scotland will perform during Jan. 26-27 Highland festival at the Hylton Center
Experience the rich Scottish heritage of bagpipes and drums, a fiddler and whiskey, crafts and children's activities are all part of the two-day Hylton in the Highlands: A Festival of Scotland” at the Hylton Center on George Mason University's Manassas VA campus.
Grammy-nominated fiddler Natalie MacMaster will take audiences on a musical sleigh ride through Nova Scotia for her first appearance at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas on Friday, Dec. 7.

Author Mary Miley Theobald will debunk many familiar tales from American history during a Book Talk at The Manassas Museum on Nov. 4 at 2 p.m.
The acclaimed Navy Sea Chanters are returning to Stonewall Middle School in Manassas VA for a 7:30 p.m. performance on Friday, Nov. 2. The musical lineup includes sea chanteys, patriotic songs, Broadway hits, and other genres. The concert is free and open to the public.
Dailey & Vincent return to Manassas on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. with a heartwarming family friendly concert, “A Bluegrass Christmas,” which is billed as capturing the reason for the season.
Director Ted Ballard of Castaways Repertory Theatre will hold auditions in Woodbridge VA Nov. 15 and 17 with callbacks Nov. 19 to cast Laughing Stock, described as "A hilarious backstage farce and genuinely affectionate look into the world of the theatre." Performances are scheduled for late January and early February, 2013.
Reservations will be taken beginning Nov. 5 for the annual holiday luncheon for senior citizens at the Manassas VA Campus of Northern Virginia Community College.
