From an antiques appraisals fair and bird walk+bagel to historic baseball, 19th century worship and tours of Gettysburg and Prince William County's VA historic sites, plenty of activities with a slice of history are on the schedule for June.
Gainesville Supervisor Pete Candland will see a swath of Prince William County from an different point of view on Monday, May 27, when he makes a 30-mile cross-county Memorial Day walk to raise funds for charity.
Two one-act comedies will be performed the same evening at the Candy Factory in Old Town Manassas.

Prince William County Historic Preservation Division Sites opened for the season May 2 and an interesting mix of history programs from teas and boat rides to tours, talks and sheep shearing are being offered.
