In commemoration of the 151st Anniversary of the Battle of Thoroughfare Gap, the Turn The Mill Around Campaign is sponsoring a special day of tours, presentations and onsite family events at the Chapman Beverley Mill Historic Site in Prince William and Fauquier Counties on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Greater Manassas Veterans Day Parade committee has named Joseph Ortiz grand marshal for the annual parade to be held Nov. 9 in Old Town Manassas.
Beverly Veness, a Prince William County librarian especially skilled in using historic resources, will demonstrate how to go about tracing family genealogy and will reveal many of the free resources available to help with research at a Bull Run Regional Library seminar on Tuesday, September 24th at 7 p.m.
Manassas National Battlefield Park will host a series of special events marking the 151st anniversary of the Second Battle of Manassas Aug. 30-31 and Sept. 1.
