PW Forest Park schedules changes for winter season starting Dec. 1

Prince William Forest Park will close Oak Ridge Campground and the Chopawamsic Backcountry area beginning Dec. 1. Both areas will reopen March 1, 2015. In addition, the park visitor center will be closed Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Jean Lauzon paintings of “What You Can’t See and Other Matters ” on exhibit at NOVA

“What You Can’t See and Other Matters,” featuring paintings by Jean Lauzon, will be on display during December and January in Colgan Gallery at the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College. Asaph Ensemble’s Dec. 7 Christmas performance meant to inspire

Asaph Dance Ensemble,, a professional ballet company, will ring in the holidays with a performance that is meant to do more than just leave the audience with a warm, fuzzy" feeling. Their performance of Clara's Christmas is meant to "inspire," according to Robin Sturm, artistic director.
