The Garden Club of Lake Ridge will welcome Nancy Vehrs, president of the Prince William Wildflower Society, on March 2, at 7 pm in the Tall Oaks Community Center, 12298 Cotton Mill Dr., Woodbridge.

The sixth annual art exhibit at Wakefield School, The Plains, showcases the work of the entire Wakefield Community including students, parents, grandparents, and special friends. Artists from across Virginia are invited to submit up to two original works of art in 12 categories to the Hylton Center between Feb. 1, 2015 and April 1, 2015. A distinguished panel of judges will jury submissions and choose the top entries.
