Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition in partnership with PWC Parks and Recreation and Prince William Soil and Water Conservation District invites volunteers ages 10 years and older to help clean up the Marumsco Creek on Saturday, March 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at Veterans Park, 14300 Featherstone Road in Woodbridge.

New Dominion Choraliers of Prince William County will host Stafford Regional Choral Society and the Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra for “A Musical Collaboration: From Schubert to the American Songbook!” March 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.
The opening day of camping season in Virginia State Parks is changing. Campgrounds will open Friday, March 6. Exceptions to the new schedule include Lake Anna, Pocahontas, Smith Mountain Lake, and Staunton River state parks, where camping will open on March 1 this year.

A Virginia horticulturist, Mark Viette of Augusta County, has been creating his own custom birdseed blends for years, according to a news release from the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation. Birds get a more nutritional diet and people who feed the birds are rewarded by seeing a more diverse band of feathered visitors.
A talk by Lt. Gen. Richard F. Natonski, US Marine Corps (USMC) (Ret.) at the Freedom Museum has been rescheduled to March 12. The retired general will speak about Operation Al Tajr, The Battle of Fallujah, Iraq based on his first-hand knowledge.

Manassas Symphony Orchestra and two Ellis Duo award-winning young pianists will play first-rate musical favorites from great classical composers in Classicus, at the orchestra's spring concert March 7. Students and children can get a free ticket for the performance.
On Saturday, Feb. 28, the story and characters of Alice in Wonderland will come to life in shows at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. onstage at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas.
