Woodbridge Flute Choir (WFC), directed by Debbie Gilbert and assisted by Lisa Sheldone, will present its Spring Concert on Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m. at the Bull Run Regional Library in Manassas. Admission is free.
On Friday May 8, 2015, the 70th anniversary of V-E Day commemorating the end of the war in Europe, World War II bombers and fighters will fly together in historic group formations directly over Washington, DC. The planes will originate from Manassas Regional Airport and Culpeper Regional Airport.

FCT will present "Honk" on stage at Vint Hill beginning May 1 for three weekends. It is a story of a duckling that hatches “differently” than the rest and he must find a way to make it in a world where everyone treats him as such.
A new reservation policy will change the way visitors rent cabins in some Virginia State Parks. Beginning May 1, Belle Isle, James River, Natural Tunnel, Staunton River, Twin Lakes and Westmoreland state parks will drop the seven-night cabin stay requirement and instead allow guests to book two-night stays.
The Community Reading Festival-Manassas Reads is this Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas. The family event is free and sponsored by the Prince William County Public Library System, the City of Manassas and Manassas City Schools. Books and reading are the main features of the event.
