The 18th Annual Model Train Show presented by Boy Scout Troop 964 of Dale City will be open to the public on Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13, at Saunders Middle School, 13557 Spriggs Road Manassas, VA. Hours are 10am – 5pm both days.
Join a "leap into nature" at the start of Daylight Savings Time. Get out and see Mother Nature for a 90-minute casual two-mile hike. March offers a chance to see patterns of tree branches without the cloak of leaves, to seek out vernal pools where amphibians breed, and to get some exercise in the fresh air.

Most people are taught in some history class that the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote was approved in 1920 and that Susan B. Anthony played a role. However, most people do not know that part of the history of the suffrage movement lies right here in our own backyard. March is Women’s History month, which the playright-actor Margie Tompros believes is time for people to learn about these women whose stories have somehow received very little acknowledgement in history books, but also the history that gave women the right to vote is right here and most do not know it.
