BARN (Benedictine Relief Aid for Neighbors) in Bristow will host its annual golf tournament on Monday, May 15, at Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. All proceeds go to BARN’s programs to end homelessness.

Retired US Army Col. Jeffrey N. Williams and NASA astronaut will speak at the Freedom Museum about the NASA space program and its future on Tuesday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. Col. Williams joined NASA in 1996 and set a record in space on his fourth mission to the space station as the American who has spent the longest time in space.
All are invited to The Warrenton Antiquarian Society’s free annual Open Meeting, Tuesday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at the Warrenton-Fauquier Visitors Center, 33 N. Calhoun St. in Warrenton, VA. Marc Leepson, a journalist, historian and author of nine books including “What So Proudly We Hailed: Francis Scott Key, A Life,” the first biography of the author of the “Star-Spangled Banner” in 75 years will give a lively talk on the little-known life of Francis Scott Key.
Prince William Retired Teacher's Association will have a general meeting and brunch on Monday, March 13, at 10 a.m. The event will be held at St. Thomas United Methodist Church at 8899 Sudley Road in Manassas.

Can you imagine not being able to speak the language of the country where you live? Learn how to teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to students who are American-born and English Language Learners at workshops March 18 and April 1 and then become a volunteer tutor with Literacy Volunteers of America-Prince William.
Medical Missionaries will have a family style picnic fundraiser and 20th anniversary celebration between noon and 4 pm on Saturday April 22, 2017 at the Knights of Columbus Hall 9290 Stonewall Rd Manassas, Va 20110. Admission is free and there will be food at nominal costs, live music, raffles, silent auctions, entertainment, magician, balloon artist, and face painting. Meet the many volunteers.
