He's a husband, father, church member, farm owner, sportsman and businessman. He's served as supervisor of the Gainesville Magisterial District since he was first elected in 2003. Prince William police and schools are teaming up to offer a safe teen driving presentation on May 25 at Battlefield High School.
Students at Cedar Point Elementary School
in Bristow got a close-up view of flying machines, including a hot air balloon. Again this year, Cindy Brennan created a program designed to whet students' appetites to learn more about space programs and flight.
Glenkirk Elementary School in Gainesville, Va., hosted “Knight at the Museum” to display artwork from kindergarteners through fifth-graders. Artwork designed to honor America, such as the flag shown here, as well as creations to show celebrations in many countries around the world, adorned the walls of the school that opened its doors to the community to feature the many young artists.

Prince William Health System Foundation's 8th annual Spring Tea, on May 15, was held at Stonewall Golf Club in Gainesville, Va. The event brought mothers and daughters of all ages together. This mother and daughter even color-coordinated their outfits. Many area residents and businesspeople remembered loved ones they lost to breast cancer. The tea was a fundraiser for The Cancer Center at Lake Manassas. Many silent auction items were awarded to the highest bidders.

A memorial service was held on Aug. 11, 2024 for Betty Thomas Anastasi, 99, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Commonwealth Senior Living of Manassas.
Edward James Wyrsch passed away on August 4, 2024 at his home in Haymarket, VA .
A funeral service for Joseph F. Glines Sr., who passed away on June 24, 2024, will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, followed by interment at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, at 2 p.m.
