In the first edition, readers will discover several public services the Clerk's Office offesr at the courthouse and within the community. This issue highlights programs available to residents, outlines the processes for obtaining public services, and shares upcoming community events.
Weather permitting on Sunday, March 10, Balls Ford Road in Manassas will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. between Wellingford Drive and Randolph Ridge Lane while Norfolk Southern performs work at the railroad crossing.
Manassas VA city police department's crime report for Friday, March 1, 2013 includes two counts of abduction in a domestic violence felony case.
On February 28th at 11:07AM, Prince William County police responded to the 10600 block of Lake Jackson Dr in Manassas (20111) for a single vehicle crash. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
On March 6 from 5 to 7 p.m., the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will host “An Evening with Sonia Sanchez” in Colgan Theater. The free event was rescheduled from Feb. 25 due to illness. Free parking too.
A suspect arrested in connection with a North Carolina bank robbery has also been charged in connection with the Feb. 23 robbery of the Burke & Herbert branch bank on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. The suspect will be extradited to Prince William County VA.
Taste testers needed for Prince William County School Food and Nutrition Services' 23rd annual Food Show on March 7, with two sessions, 6 to 7 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. at Patriot High School in Nokesville.
Two job fairs for summer work with the county department of Parks and Recreation will be held March 2 and 3 in eastern Prince William County. Altogether there are 300 slots available.
